About George Raine, President of Montana HR Services Inc.
George Raine’s 26 year career has included work in all areas of HR. In that time, he has held senior HR positions with Irving [Corporate VP of Human Resources -- Irving Group Moncton], Stelco Inc., Frigidaire Canada, the Queen Elizabeth II Health Sciences Centre, and the Government of Nova Scotia.
George was the recipient of the 2004 Atlantic Canada Human Resources Award [ACHRA] for Excellence in Human Resources, given by the HR associations of Nova Scotia and New Brunswick.
He can connect with any employer and has worked with every kind of employment relationship and employer: union and non-union, profit and not-for-profit, private sector and public sector, and privately-owned and publicly-traded.
Mr. Raine played a pivotal role in the creation of the Canadian Council of Human Resources Associations and the establishment of a national standard for the CHRP designation. He has twice been President of CCHRA, which represents nearly 20,000 HR professionals across the country.
George was educated at Queen's University, at the Institut Montana in Zug, Switzerland, and on many a shop floor.
